Founded in 1994, the Palmer College of Chiropractic West Sports Council continues to be a leader in the education and professional development of the next generation of sports chiropractors. Through practical, skill-building opportunities, Council members gain the knowledge and experience that will allow them to be at the forefront of the profession after graduation. Council members have gone on to play critical roles in professional and non-professional sports using the skills learned and developed while being in the council.
Palmer West Sports Council has always been the leader in sports chiropractic education. Over the past 17 years have been providing complimentary chiropractic and on site medical treatment for several bay area sporting events. These events include Sea Otter Classic, North Face Endurance Challenge Kaiser Half Marathon and various other sporting and athletic events. Providing the community with health and wellness and also valuable practical experience for the students.

Dr. Ed Feinberg
There has been one man that has been with the Palmer West Sports Council from the very beginning. Our Faculty Advisor Dr Ed Feinberg. Dr Feinberg is a mentor to many predominant sports chiropractor all across the world, both alumni and non Palmer West Students. He is both loved and respected in the Sports Chiropractic world and he is the 2011 ACA Sports Council Chiropractor of the year. We are very glad to have such a prestigious and well esteemed Faculty Advisor as our leader. Congratulations Dr Ed Feinberg. You deserve it.
